Hi All,

 

I work with a couple of different netduino's, and sometimes forget what program (version) is loaded to the module.

is there a easy way to find out without deploying a new program?

i am now using as a workaround a bluetooth module what sends my progname&version on request.

maybe there is also a way to do this, with just the USB programming cable?

Hi luc-winters, Open up MFDeploy, select USB and connect to your board (F5). Then press the reset button on your Netduino. Finally, press Ping in MFDeploy. You should see a read-out of all the boot data, including assembly names and versions. Does that get you the info you need? Welcome to the Netduino community, Chris

I tried to do this myself and all I get in the window is "Pinging... TinyCLR" nothing else am I missing something?

Disregard this I was using an old version of MFDeploy but I've figured it out now.
