Hi Guys

Here is the new breed of .Net Micro Framework Development board. It a Open source board with opensource netduino firmware. it has pinouts same as netduino. but the unpopulated pins are available @ 2x20 header.

have a look at the image attached

currently its running the latest netduino firmware. though the I/O's not available in TinyCLR or the Programing.

i am trying to port the netduino to this board with access to I/O pins

here is the vid on youtube , sorry for the background noise.

Open source ... does that mean you're not using the USBizi chip?

There are already several .NET Micro Framework boards with powerful microcontrollers (e.g. ARM9 @ 200+ MHz) and plenty of memory (tens MB RAM, hundreds MB FLASH), for about $100 ~ $350. Jan Kučera has a list of most popular ones on his web.

And non of them are open source. And the list you're refering to is somewhat outdated. (Wrong prices, non-existing products.) SJJMicro has a killer board, for 60$ though: (For a limited time.) http://sjjmicro.com/EDK.html But a "big" open source Netduino clone, would still be really interesting.

Nice hint from over a year ago. I haven't seen any new hardware come out of Secret since the Mini. Can you share any more recent information with us?

Well, I guess is still early: anyway will be an hard fight between Obama and Romney/Santorum...
Be patient, please!
Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.
