Regards #2Posted 27 May 2013 - 02:00 PM Are you sure the name even sticks to the board? #3Posted 27 May 2013 - 02:05 PM Yep. When I reconnect Netduino Plus using USB to my desktop I must select NetduinoPlus_netduino6 (I've named it netduino6 in MFDeploy USB Name) in Visual Studio for proper deployment and also I see NetduinoPlus_netduino6 in USB device selection dropdown. #4Posted 27 May 2013 - 03:51 PM
The source for mfdeploy is in the netmf porting kit
That said I looked at modifying mfdeploy to allow multiple concurrent deployments I.e. Production setup flash 10 nds at once and as far as I remember mfdeploy enumerates the usb ports on ur pc not the nd attached so in your example netduino6 refers to the port not the device (verify by plugging nd into a port you havnt used yet)
Hope that helps
Nak.
#5Posted 27 May 2013 - 05:15 PM Hello,
I've plugged ND+ to 3 various USB ports (on the same computer, one port for sure was not used because I'm using it for my keyboard) and every time in opened MFDeploy tool in Device name showed NetduinoPlus_netduino6. I've planned to install VS 2010 Express on my netbook and I will also try to connect ND+ to it and check what name will show MFDeploy.
