I really need some longer cables for the RGB and Button Module for a Turbidity Sensor I am making for the kid's science project.

What is the max length I can get away with if I slow the bus speeds down?

Where can I get the parts to make a couple of longer cables?

Am I just crazy and need to figure out another solution?

Hi theTroll, You can use any standard 0.05" pitch IDC cables (with the 10-pin 0.05" IDC connectors on the ends). If you use error correction and/or slow things down, you can definitely communicate over longer distances. Not "across the house" necessarily...but a few feet for sure ;) Chris
