I got my netduino 2 in the mail to day, and at my second project (after finishing up a distance sensor project) I ran into some problems.

 

I've been waiting for my Netduino for a while, planning my projects and bought some stuff online. For instance the temperature sensor DS18B20.

 

I quickly found a guide that was pretty much straight forward (thanks Brad). And after adapting my project since I'm on VS2012 and adding the right references it builded (small yay).

 

I then plugged in my netduino and tried to deploy but VS2012 states that mscorelib on the device, the lovely netduino 2 is running on 4.2.

 

OKEY, now what?

 

Is my Netduino stuck on 4.2?

 

If so, is there a way to still use the DS18B20?

 

If not, when is the update comming? Is there alpha/beta out there? I would love to try it out.

you can either flash the duino with netmf 4.3 firmware or set the output in vs2012 to 4.2

(on project -> settings)
