Hi frajen,

Yes, that Arduino XBee Shield (and XBee modules) should work with Netduino. If it uses the 6-pin "ICSP" header on the bottom to route SPI communication, you'll need to sandwich a MakerShield between it and your Netduino Plus 2. This will make sure the pins get routed to the right place.

will this work with netduino GO (and if only with go or can i buy modules for netduino plus 2 ? )

Device 3 GO

There are a few ways that you can use that Gadgeteer RFID module with Netduino...

(1) It's a Gadgeteer "U" module, so if you're willing to give up 4 GoPorts on your Netduino Go you can plug it in and use it as a SerialPort (turning off GoBus on half of the board's GoPorts). You may need to tweak the C# drivers for it though, to remove the Gadgeteer dependencies.

(2) Since Gadgeteer is a pin mapping system, you could also use this with a Netduino Plus. You can pick up a Gadgeteer Extender (breakout board) and wire the necessary pins to one of the 4 UARTs on your Netduino Plus 2. The note on drivers from scenario (1) still applies here.

(3) We are working on a Gadgeteer Adapter for Netduino. When this product is released, you could plug that module into any "U" Gadgeteer socket on that board and use it as-is. But this is a future scenario, so I'd stick with (1) or (2) for now.
