I'm running windows 7, and after I select the serial port and chip, the sam-ba_cdc.exe seems to do nothing. I thought earlier in the post someone mentioned that windows 7 support for sam-ba_cdc.exe is not good. Either way, I've erased my chip and would like to get TinyBooter and the firmware back on it :)

Hi adam,

Welcome to the Netduino community.

Programming the Netduino Mini is done via a virtual serial port...so in theory it should work with any version of SAM-BA...

What issue are you having, exactly, flashing a Netduino Mini using SAM-BA 2.10 on your computer?

Chris

Are you running Windows 7 Ultimate edition? Or have a copy of Windows XP/Vista running inside a virtual machine?

I'm also looking to see if there's a link to SAM-BA 2.09 out there somewhere still...

yep, Windows 7 Ultimate on a MacBook, so you know I'm asking for trouble. Digging up a Copy of Windows xp on a vm might take me awhile. If you could find a link that would be wonderful :)

Are you running Windows XP mode on your Windows 7 PC? It is a free feature of Win7 Ultimate...

It looks like Atmel has taken down the links to the old version... I have one other idea, which I just PM'd to you.

Chris
