Alright so I have the mini and I need to get something started... so I want to know what I should use to connect it to the computer. I imagine Chris W and the team are busy working on some tutorials... but I think Chris Seto might know :) I was looking at this: http://www.sparkfun....products_id=133 ... but I would rather use a USB, I just haven't found a 3.3V compatible one. So any suggestions?

There are a bunch of options. This should work: http://www.sparkfun....roducts_id=9717 Using a TTL-RS232 adapter will work. Pushing DB9 jumper wires into the female end of a serial cable (and into a breadboard) will work. And plugging the Netduino Mini into a "BASIC Stamp 2" host board (Parallax) will work. Chris

I was wondering if this would work too http://www.sparkfun....oducts_id=10009 .
I just saw that and I would rather have a little board like that, than a cable.

Thanks

Yes, that should absolutely work. You'd just need to connect 3-4 wires (TX, RX, GND, and optionally DTR) from the breakout board to the Netduino Mini (on your breadboard).

Thanks Chris... I'll see if I can order that today and some other things so I can make Netduino Mini tutorials by next weekend.

Yeah it looks great, and it seems to be a better deal....

Only thing is that i think most people are going to put the netduino mini right on a breadboard. so it wouldn't be the best for tutorials.

Though I might get one of those for myself.. thanks for the suggestion
