Can you add two holes in a future 'Button Module 2.0" where I could solder in my own headers (or wires) for my own (arcade style) buttons, so I can place the button more than 10cm from the mainboard? ;-)

Hi Alfred, That would be a cool third-party module. And actually, since the button uses a 589 shift register, you could just use a DIP 589 chip and make your own custom button module pretty easily. We did early testing like this...using Stefan's solder creations :) Chris

If you do anything remotely close to an arcadethingy, please use atari layout or something, so we don't have to create things for each platform.. Didn't Pete Brown do something around this?
