A 50-50 chance and I got it wrong. That's why I don't gamble. Thanks!

OK, I flipped around the screw terminals (and had to reroute or reassign some companents as a result), and got the attached. Unfortunately, I'm now getting over 80 "Stop Mask" errors, on everything from resistors to the TDA7313 itself. I'm using the SparkFun dru file, and I have vector fonts turned on. Any ideas as to what I screwed up this time?

Found it! I had the 'tDocument' layer turned on when I applied the rules. Thanks to this link for the answer!

Out of curiousity, have you got any physical boards yet? Btw, if you haven't sent the Gerbers already, you might consider adding a few test points on strategic places - they can be become very valuable if the board does not work quite as expected. On the few designs I've made, I regret not having added some :o

That's a great idea! Alas, the boards are finished and on their way from China. I'm hoping to have them by the end of next week. Speaking of which: would you like one to play with when they arrive? I don't really need 10 of them, so one or two to a good cause won't hurt. :)

I'd love to get a card to play with  Only problem is I'm not sure when I would have the time to take it for a spin in order to be of help to you.

Ok, since you're insistingPosted Image Seriously though, it might come in handy at some point.

You cannot imagine the turnover of stuff I've had laying about until it eventually turned out useful in one way or the other. Sometimes I wonder if my subconscious knew that I was going to need the stuff later. Either that or it's me constantly thinking of ways to make this and that gadget useful Posted Image

If you PM me your postal address, I'll send you something useful from my "junkbox" + a pre-addressed jiffy for the round-trip.

The boards came in late Saturday: $33.88 for ten boards, including shipping. Start to finish: three weeks. Quick-and-dirty snaps of the board attached. And by the way: it works perfectly! Next: off to write some code to make everything play nicely together. Thanks again to everyone for your kind help!

Wow, that's just so cool man - congratulations, especially on not having to do any rework, that got to be pretty rare on a first board. Good thing the screw terminals came out the right direction too.

They wouldn't have, if you hadn't told me right-way-round. Thank you! And thank you, Thomas, for your kind thoughts. I did have one screw-up: I didn't include capacitors on Imput 3 (the one directly to the SparkFun si4703 breakout board). Fortunately, the Sparkfun board incorporates capactors in its output, and it seems to be working ok. But if I ever want to attach something else to that header, I'll have to rig something up. BTW: the radio and the switcher both coexist nicely; I've switched between inputs and tuned the radio with my Netduino. Woo-hoo!

I think it looks better now, there were many corrections required in the first draft but the second one is exponentially better. Just please make sure that the pull up resistors are of the correct value because sometimes the current sink isn't capable of handling the amount of current forced into it. Best of luck with the future designs, keep us posted.
