I'm trying to use Shift Register to control 16x2 LCD (http://geekswithblog...id_crystal.aspx)
The problem is that I ordered CD4014BE which has completely different pins than 74HC595
Any idea which pins to use for what?

Unfortunately, CD4014 works in opposite direction (parallel/serial input -> serial output) than 74x595 (serial input -> parallel/serial output). You'd need 4094 instead. The problem is that I ordered CD4014BE which has completely different pins than 74HC595

Just learned that here http://www.doctronics.co.uk/4014.htm
Are there any Netduino example projects with those?
