Once the Netduino 4.2 firmware comes out of beta, you'll be able to use the new NETMF AnalogInput classes. For now, you'll want to use the traditional SecretLabs AnalogInput classes.I dont mind using managed code, was just wondering whether I could keep my some of my code independent of the SecretLabs framework. For example, can I read analog inputs using only the MS classes?
Once the NETMF 4.2 QFE2 ships and the USB drivers pass our tests, we plan to provide an update for Netduino, Netduino Plus, and Netduino Mini. The boards are fully upgradeable, reflashable, and hackable...so you should be all set.I have a netduino plus, would it be possible to upgrade the framework to 4.2 once it's released?
The .NET MF 4.2 release is the next big thing for Netduino and Netduino Plus, with .NET MF 4.3 hopefully following just a few months later. The other big thing going on is Netduino Go, with the new go!bus pluggable modules, which will give you the ultimate flexibility.Where can I read more about what's next for Netduino?
