Well we are just over a month away (6 weeks?) from the Bay Area Maker Faire 2012.

I think we should plan a meetup on either Saturday or Sunday, or even both days.

Who is planning on going?

I'll update this thread with info as it is decided, reply below with your thoughts.

I'll start: I'm in for either a Saturday or Sunday meetup I'm still hoping to hear if my DNNFoos (www.dnnfoos.com) project got selected for the Road To Maker Faire, though I am not expecting it. I went one day last year by myself, this year I'll go both days, one with the wife/baby, and one solo or with friends. Does Secret Labs have any swag we could sport for the meetup? If not, perhaps we could have something made, I've got a buddy with a clothing business that could get some screen prints done.

Wish I could be there! I've only been to one so far, NYC last year. And I'll be going again this year. I just think it'd be sweet to see how the west coast Faire differs. EDIT: Awww Man! Adam Savage will be speaking at the Bay Area Faire. /sad_panda

You should consider an easy-to-read/remember shortlink or QR code for those too shy to ask about it. Make it easy for them to see or secretly scan to keep it on record to look up later!

I'll be there on the Education Day (the 17th) with my wife and kids. Will also be there on the weekend but not sure if i'll be there on Sat or Sunday. Most likely it will be Saturday.

Bump. I'm working on a t-shirt idea, hope to have a mockup next week and will try to get an order placed the following week to make sure they are here in time for the Faire. I'll post more info about shirts when it is available

Here we go! We're less than two weeks away from the Bay Area Maker Faire. I've got some t-shirts coming for those who will be in attendance, all I am looking to do is cover my costs for getting the shirts made and shipped here (already have approval from Secret Labs to have them made). Attached is a quick look at the shirt design. I only have a limited number of these (2 Large, 1 XL and 2 Medium), so they are first come first serve, $10/each. If they turn out well Secret Labs may end up doing another run in the future. I'd prefer to keep these to attendees of the bay area maker faire for now, so I don't have to deal with shipping. If we don't have enough people that attend that want the extras I may be up for shipping them out afterwards. Let me know if you want one so I can keep track. Cash in person at the faire is fine with me. Chris
