The plot thickens. Check out the homepage today. "need more input 001011" with a little sneak peak of board.

Have I ever missed the boat. I thought it was odd at first that I didn't see any other posts in this thread. I guess I should have refreshed my page :)

Now the homepage says "All you base 001011100". I don't know if the sneak peak has grown but it's becoming more and more exciting by the hour.

ARGH!...Did you misspelled the binary number, or it has changed effectively?
I was almost convinced for the 4/4 date: don't make my dream blowing!

Mario is right, the binary number in Hanzibal's post has one extra '1' - there is still 00101100 (44 dec) on the Netduino homepage Posted Image

Going binary to decimal to 4/4 sounds too contrived to me. I'm going with 44 I/O pins - maybe Arduino Mega compatible or something Gadgeteer related. Oooh - I only just noticed the "all your base" image with a glimpse of the corner of a new device.

Based on what I have seen so far... I am still leaning towards "00101100" being a release date of 4/4/2012. By the two board clips I've seen, I 'm leaning towards a SAM9x based board with a simple LCD since some of the SAM9s have LCD capabilities.

You guys have it all wrong. Clearly "44" refers to the fact that only 44 will ever be made Or maybe they'll be 44 pounds (weight) each. Or maybe 44MHz, super low-power editions Pete (got absorbed into the Andy Kaufman of YouTube last night, so feel like trolling everyone I see <g>)

Maybe 44 is 42 + 2 42 version 2?

Based on some hints I had awhile back, all I can say is: I'm very much excited to hear a formal announcement! I don't think anyone will be upset by it. :)
