Hi all...

I've been investigating, but not testing, several Ethernet adapter shields, originally designed for Arduino. I'm not brave enough to start modifying existing shields and writing drivers for the Netduino platform, although I have designed an Ethernet port for the Atmel AVR32 UC3A processor. That hardware uses the National Semiconductor DP83848C PhyLayer chip and works well with drivers provided by Atmel.

Does anyone have some experience or suggestions about what Ethernet shields or dev platforms are available for Netduino, and sources of drivers?

Good to see some many participants in this forum...

Hi Gordon, Welcome to the Netduino community! We have experimental drivers available for the Wiznet Ethernet shields. http://forums.netdui...hernet-shields/ Does that give you a good start? Chris

Hi Gordon,

You should check out the .NET MF Toolkit (http://mftoolkit.codeplex.com/). It was created by Michael Schwarz and one of the many project it contains is an HTTP server for the .NET Micro Framework.

Please note that you need to download the latest changeset from source control, change the project types from .NET MF 3.0 to .NET MF 4.1, and then rebuild the solution.
