Netduino needs a brother. You might want to stay close to your computer this weekend. Or come to World MakerFaire NY. That's all I can share until the weekend... Please, no speculation about flying carpets or perpetual energy machines. :) Chris P.S. A few community members received tracking #s via e-mail or private message. Watch your doorsteps.

Great news, I shall be watching with interest. And a nice gesture to give a few away. My first Netduino project has taken a while as I build the stuff that it will be interfacing with. Just realised that you do need at least 2 Netduinos though - one "production" device being used and one for developing the next version. I may hold off on buying device #2 until I see what's coming.

I hope this makes it to the News and Announcements forum. The zeros bother me.

Moderator Edit: Joe, you're right...zeroes do look funny. We've removed the empty "News and Announcements" forum temporarily.

Oz-solutions, I am convince these guys do go in every morning and laugh. Laugh about enjoying the day and suppying more creative ideas and products. They are plainly having too much fun ! Having retired from a large corporation, I am green with envy for them.

I would love to work for some nice people like the Secret Labs staff. My dream is to work for Microsoft, I am literatly ossesed with them and their work... some of it anaways, they've been disappointing me lately :( . But I have faith that they will get back to the tippy top

Oh wait... Netduino forums. NOT OS forums :) oh well... still glued to my keyboard.

Can you tell us when this annoucment will be made Chris? OR Make it a riddle or puzzle, that'd be fun.

Me too!

I think I'll hold off just a bit before buying my 2nd Netduino too. I'm supposed to give a talk in October for our local .NET user group... I wanted 2 Netduinos (easier to showcase different projects that way)...

Sorry, I'm voluntarily deleting my previous remark, since it was somewhat inappropriate. I don't mean to detract from the Secret Labs announcement.

Whatever it is, I'll be getting it... (unless it's Netduino controlled car - haven't got that much money!)

Hmm - over on SparkFun Chris posted: [We're using the extra onboard pins for something else...stay tuned for this weekend's announcement at MakerFaire NY] So based on that it might be the same processor but with more pins. I'm still hopeful it's a more powerful processor though. Guess we'll find out tomorrow!
