I am absoultely new to sofware and the netduino. I am downloading and installing the environment based on the "Getting Started with Netduino" book. I completed step 1: Install Visual C# Express The trouble is step 2: Install .net micro framework. I downloaded the .msi from the Netduino website to my local HDD. When I click on it to install, I get the following error message: "Windows Installer: This installation package could not be opened. Please contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package." My OS is Windows 7 64-bit. Please help.

Sounds like the download might be bad. Have you tried downloading it again to see if that fixes it?
