I like that even better. I believe that Microsoft's official meaning is "Quick Fix Engineering".Quick Field Engineering
In summary, similar to a service pack--but with much smaller changes--and rolled out without all the intense testing required for a major release or service pack.

Please note that we've already rolled most of the patches from QFE1 into the RC4 firmware.
There are a few new ones, but this won't be as big of an update as RC3->RC4 was.

So to get QFE1 fixes we need to wait for SL to release RC5?
Also, I like yours better, 'Quick Fix Engineering'!

Most QFE1 fixes are in RC4. Two or three (including the revised PWM object model) will be in RC5.So to get QFE1 fixes we need to wait for SL to release RC5?
