Just checking if a Table of Contents is available anywhere yet for "Getting Started with Netduino." The O'Reilly website shows a TOC, but unfortunately it includes entries like:

EDIT POST: if you read my previous post, you may ignore it
It's indeed a weird TOC for this book.

Thanks for noticing the mismatched Table of Contents!
Perhaps we can submit that as errata? I spoke with my editor, and he said they're finishing up the publication details...and that the page should be updated in the next week or so. Here is the actual table of contents.

I'd be honored to sign your copy. Will you be at MakerFaire? Chris #6Posted 30 January 2012 - 05:53 PM
I wasn't aware of this.
This is very cool!
I look forward to it.

Alas, I won't. I could mail you my copy when it arrives, or I could just buy one off of you if you'd prefer. Anything to help a struggling author. #9Posted 30 January 2012 - 09:42 PM
I think we need to plan a meetup sometime around makerfaire. When you talk EE use small words, I'm just a Software Developer

I would be down with that for sure. Nice to hear the book is nearly ready. Amazon.de is trying to convince me to cancel my order once a quarter. We've posted two sample chapters from the book now...on the download page.

They include the full table of contents as well as a few sample projects.

Chris, It looks to me like the same file is uploaded for both chapters? #15Posted 12 February 2012 - 01:18 AM
Hi emg,
Good observation. O'Reilly made one PDF with both chapters in it. They're in there, I promise Chris 0 user(s) are reading this topic0 members, 0 guests, 0 anonymous users | ||||||||||||||
