Hello All,
I wanted to know if you are are able to create a barebones netduino(Say on a breadboard) like a Arduino. Obviously the Atmel Chip may be hard to get onto a breadboard but more realisticly on a custom made PCB.
Thanks Mitchell.

Kinda. I want to be able to use the .Net Micro Framework with a 32bit AVR processor and have it all on a custom PCB. I once worked with Arduino's and I know that you can do this quite easly with their 8bit Atmega328.
Really I just wanted to know, if I got my hands on a AVR IC, can I use it witout any extra electronics.

Hi Mitchell,
Today's AVR32's don't have enough Flash/RAM for the .NET Micro Framework.
You could pick up a SAM7X microcontroller and build a custom PCB using the Netduino firmware though...
