So in the 4.2 builds Secret Labs has reserved the flash space for simple storage, however they are busy folks and havn't yet implimented it yet (at least as of the last time I talked to Beloved Leader Mr. Walker ).  I know we have a few guys here who's knowledge of the firmware (and native code en mass) far exceeds mine, I'd like to suggest that one of them build it for us.

Just a thought: If you do build this when you write to the flash do a read first and don't write if the data is already there (save those flash writes).
