Has anyone had any success with the Wave Shield with a Netduino? Are there any ported libraries for it or code examples?

I hear crickets. Everywhere I look there seems to be the same answer. Of course I could just use an Arduino with my Wave Shield, but I'm teaching Intro to Netduino this weekend at the South Florida .NET Code Camp and would like to see if one of my Netduinos can make sounds come out of it.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to sit down and really look into it. Maybe one of these day's I'll get some free time and see what I can come up with.

Hmm, we'll have to see if I can beat you to it. ;) I've got no excuse for time as I recently parted company with my employer. So I'm just being diligent and seeing if the wheel already exists before I go invent it. I figure I'll start by running the Arduino version, then begin porting.

I will l likely get to it for some time due to my current Netduino Project, so I have a feeling you will win. ;)

Best of luck and happy programming!

Has anyone had any success or willing to share any code for the Adafruit Wave Shield? I recently purchase it and quickly realized that it was beyond my capability to port the code. Adafruit is a fantastic company but it is unfortunate that they offer little to no support for Netduino.

I haven't even had time to look into it. I am still working on my Pandora's Box Project.

Being nostalgic I was looking back at when my first post was, which was really the first time I plugged in my Netduino. At lot has happened with Netduino since March 2012 and I'm just wondering if the same could be said about this shield. Sadly it still sits in pieces in it's anti-static bag from Adafruit and I haven't a clue where to begin porting all the Arduino code. :)

I was just wondering if anyone got around to doing this port or started even looking at it.  My C/C++ is mediocre, my C# is pretty decent.  Might be more than I am interested in taking on though.
