I don't want to hurt anyone, believe me Moskus, but I'm having hard time to understand what are your expectations.
OK, I re-read my first post and tried to interpret it form a EE point of view. And I see that perhaps I came on "a little strong".
There
is a learning curve for everything. I know that.
What I want to do for starters is to just connect an accelerometer to an Netduino Plus and be able to read it over LAN. I'll store the data somewhere, on file or in a database, and will use my computer(s) to interpret the vibrations. That's a mathematic and programmatic issue, and really has nothing to do with the Netduino at all. My biggest problem with this is the connection between the accelerometer and Netduino, it is as simple as that. That problem
should be relatively easy to solve, even for me.
Next I want to control a motor over LAN. I don't want to create my own circuit board for this, I just want to control the motor. If there is an existing shield that let me do this, that's great! Send me the link! If there is an easy circuit I can make myself using a breadboard, then please let me know. Again, it's just to get me started.
Then, when I read more and more, and get more and more experience I want to look into the whole XBee-distance-tracking-find-position thing. If that works out, I will try to make "my sensors" communicate with my house (over 433 MHz RF). I'm
not in any rush or anything, and I don't have a deadline.
I'll take my time and have FUN learning about electronics! That's my main goal.
My feet are firmly planted on the ground.
I know I'm not capable of creating wonderful circuits (or even applications) that will give us world peace or solve the middle east conflict. I know I don't have the resources to be Microsoft, I'm not going to be able to invent the new cool thing in electronics and make it work for millions of people. However, I can be like Apple: Combine already well known- technology to create something that already exsists, but I do it my way. But unlike Apple I'm not going to claim that it is "a revolution" and "it changes everything"...
I want to solve my small, simple everyday problems. And I want to have fun.
Does that explain my point of view?
