Hi oddmar, That's a very curious error. Have you tried rebooting your computer, unplugging/re-attaching your Netduino Plus, etc.? Two other things to try: 1. Try reflashing the firmware (or upgrade to the new .NET MF 4.2 RC1). 2. Try reflashing just the ER_CONFIG file from the firmware. Does that help? Welcome to the Netduino community, Chris

Hi Chris, and thanx for the welcome and quick reply :)

I have tried rebooting, unplugging, erasing, holding the SW1 while connecting the N+.

I can deploy programs to the N+ with VS2010 but i just cant configure anything. And now it also seems i cant flash it either.
Getting "Error: No response from device" error.

Hope you can help. Have had the NetDuino plus for only 1 day :(

Hi oddmar, It looks like you're trying to flash the .NET MF 4.2 firmware...but using the .NET MF 4.1 bootloader. Let's try this for now: 1. Grab the Netduino Plus v4.1.0.6 firmware. Unzip it on your PC. Browse for its files using MFDeploy. 2. Hold down the pushbutton on your Netduino Plus. Then power it up by plugging it into your PC via USB. 3. Immediately press PING button in MFDeploy. You should see "TinyBooter" 4. Press DEPLOY to flash your Netduino Plus with the v4.1.0.6 firmware. If after doing this you still can't change the configuration on your Netduino: 1. Try another PC (or try using Windows XP mode if you're running Windows 7 Ultimate)--to see if it's an install issue. 2. Try selecting the configuration options while holding down the pushbutton (bootloader mode). 3. If you're trying to set the network settings...try doing so using NetworkInterface[0] in code instead. The board is open source, so there are a million ways to attack things (everything from the nice pre-built tools to rebuilding from scratch). We set the configuration during manufacturing--so we know that the configuration sector works...now let's figure out how to make it work for you so you can build something cool. Chris

Hi Chris, I'we tried the holding the SW1, power on, press the ping thing. Found it on the forum. But i just keep getting the TinyCLR As long as i hold the SW1, i get no response from the ping. only when i release it do i get TinyCLR. Am i not holding it long enough ? Also, could you lend me a hand to press the ping button :) 2 doesn't seem to be enough for holding sw1, unplugging and replugging the usb and pressing ping. :) /Oddmar

It's possible, but not a big chance its done by accident. See http://wiki.netduino...ep-by-step.ashx for instructions to remove and reflash the tinybootloader.

Don't give up too soon...

That message you get from SAM-BA, you get when there still is a tinybootloader present. So did you actually erase it?
