Hehe, indeed!Also called "technologic evolution"...
I just wish it always came out better, but sadly that's not always the case.

Good question! The value is for connecting devices directly to the phone, for example, a credit card reader (like Intuit or Square does on the iPhone). What if I wanted to connect to a bike's trip computer, heart monitor, or atmospheric sensor? Smartphones almost never support serial I/O. Many sensors don't have IP or Bluetooth (and Windows Phone doesn't support Serial profile for Bluetooth yet anyway).Pardon the intrusion, but...being in the digital age, where everything is digital, what's the utility of a FSK modem?

Exactly. Smartphones can't act as USB host, but as I mentioned to Mario, not all sensors/devices have the ability to do IP, USB, or Bluetooth. If I wanted to build a phone-integrated device/sensor, I would want to keep communication as simple as possible. I'd love to be able to integrate Vernier sensors and DIY projects. The phones also connects via USB. As long as the Netduino can't be a USB host it cannot be done (I believe), and even if it can sometime in the future, you still need some way to communicate with the phone.

Hello guys,
I'm starting to play with the same exact hardware and was wondering if anyone made any progress on porting the Arduino Code to C#?
thanks for any pointers.
Cheers,
