I saw some similar problems in the forum, but I didn't find an answer for my exact issue.
When I plug my new Netduino+ into a USB port, the blue LED comes on for a few seconds, then turns off. The power LED remains lit. Windows tells me that drivers are being installed, and the installation is completed. I can see my Netduino in the Device Manager, sans yellow question mark.
I pasted the code for the Blinky program into VS, and when I go to change the properties to deploy via USB, my Netduino does not show up in the device list.
When I launch the MFD Tool, the Netduino is also not recognized as a USB device.
I am running VS 2010 Premium on 64 bit Windows 7.
Here is what I have tried:
-The press the reset button on the N+ while plugging it in to erase it.
-A known good USB cable.
-Every USB port on my PC.
Can anyone offer any guidance on what to try next?
Many thanks!
Micah

Hi Micah,
Can you take a quick screenshot of the Device Manager on your computer?
Also, have you tried rebooting your PC?
Welcome to the Netduino community,

Hi Micah,
Very interesting! This looks like it's a bug in the .NET Micro Framework SDK. Can you post a bug report over on the netmf.codeplex.com website?
Do you have another computer you can test this on? [And if you have Windows XP mode installed on your PC--can you try it inside there?]

Chris,
I brought my Netduino into the office to test on my PC here. The one thing I did differently was to install VS Express, and I don't know if that's it, but I can deploy to the Netduino now. I'm going to try installing VS express at home and see if that makes a difference.
Thanks for your help.
Micah
