Is there any interest in a website for netduino owners to show off their stuff in a more social-networking type format (think Facebook)? I was just thinking that there's a lot going on, and these forums by their very nature need to be the tech support/product forums, but it might be nice for people to have a place to land to share pictures of progress, videos, blog entries, etc that doesn't involve forum posts. Something where people can tie their work together with others, form groups, share status updates, etc. Just sort of testing the waters. I can set something up like that pretty quickly if there is any interest.

There is a Facebook page and a Twitter feed, but there's not much going on with the Facebook page yet.

As Stephen noted, we're trying to feature a few of the project on the Twitter feed. We set up a Facebook page...perhaps we need to work on the "fan of Netduino" and "look at my Netduino project" aspects there? Chris

Facebook was just an example, it'd be a separate website using SocialEngine. Just morbidly curious if anyone would use it is all. :) I've been trying to find an excuse to set it up.

Personally... I wouldn't. I don't use FaceBook, rarely touch Twitter... and have never heard of "SocialEngine"... I like the forums :)

Hi greg, We're working on setting up a Wiki (sandbox.netduino.com) -- perhaps that would be a good place to post projects, progress, etc.? Or links to projects--either one is good... Chris

Yep on wiki. Every hobby electronics site needs it's own wiki.
