I am looking for some basic documentation on how to program the netduino in c#. For example, how does one output 5 volts from the "little power module" on the netduino. A simple connection diagram maybe and a couple lines of what programming objects and settings to use. I have found some great examples on http://www.netduino.com/projects/ but the only real example is with the onboard led. Which operating is fun but short lived.
I am a newbie and am looking for a basic or introductory level of documentation. Not a manual for the onboard chip.
If there is not any more out there. Does anyone know when it may be expected.
Thanks,

There's a 5v pin on the board, it's not a programmable pin, it just outputs 5v all the time. I agree on documentation and I know it's being worked on.

Welcome to the community.I am a newbie and am looking for a basic or introductory level of documentation. Not a manual for the onboard chip.
There is little documentation as such available at the moment. There are a few people blogging about what they are doing and the project showcase is a good source of information. You can find some additional information in the Netduino Wiki. There is also a book which is available on Safari and will soon be available in paper form Getting Started with the Internet of Things - the latest update can be found here
If you are intereseted in some active members blogs then a few to look at are: Stefan, Fabien's Bit Bucket, Omar and I also have one which is sort of random in direction - depends upon what takes my fancy and you can find that here. I am sure there are more and omission is accidental
There is also an interesting site which is Arduino based but is still interesting bildr.org
Hope this is useful,
Mark

Still working on some, but got diverted by difficulties learning DotNetNuke and WordPress menus ...
Started with C in 1985, moved to Vb3 ... to vb6 and stopped. Now started with .Net and learning C# and VB.net and wishing VB.net was on MF !
