Fostering interest in the cloud and azure I'd say ! But first time I see it ! Too late anyway !
Started with C in 1985, moved to Vb3 ... to vb6 and stopped. Now started with .Net and learning C# and VB.net and wishing VB.net was on MF !

Too bad we found out too late, would have been fun! Personally though, I don't quite get the sensor fascination everybody else seem to share - probably just me missing out on something...but still, is it really that fun about reading temperature and humidty? I do see the point in terms of the mechanisms involved in the mating process among mammuls, but other than that...or maybe its just that!

I think it goes with the feeling green imperative... I don't quite get the sensor fascination everybody else seem to share - probably just me missing out on something...
Using heating when people are coming home/waking up and mostly turning it off when leaving home for a while (that needs to be defined) things like that ... my thoughts !

I didn't see that but I really think that *framework and the cloud are the most important strategy of MS, IMHO. That's because the MF has web-services and gadgetry, but leaks of other basic libs.
Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.

Totally agree even though I don't really know about the leaks since I'm probably more narrow sighted "wow cool" solution oriented than visionary, big-picture or long term.I didn't see that but I really think that *framework and the cloud are the most important strategy of MS, IMHO.
