Has anyone had any success with a Netduino talking to a LabVIEW PC? I don't see any such posts on this forum, so either no one has done this yet or else no one has shared their Netduino-LabVIEW success stories. I see where people have done this with Arduinos, here for example: http://web.me.com/ik...on/LabVIEW.html, but cannot find anything about a Netduino talking to LabVIEW. I'm admittedly a pre-newbie and don't even have a Netduino yet, but maybe someone else can glance at the linked Arduino code and say that this would be very easy to port to a Netduino. Hmmmmm?
Thanks,
Joel

It is possible to do this with a Netduino, though at the moment, the Netduino part will be a bit more complicated than the Arduino example that was linked to. This is because the USB connection on the Netduino is usually used for Visual Studio programming and debugging, but it can be programmed to act as a virtual serial port (USB CDC). A future release of the Netduino firmware should make this easier and have a sample to work out from, as far as I have understood. There are a few more detail in this thread under Netduino Beta (http://forums.netdui...e-v412-alpha-0/)
The LabView part should be the same, though I haven't tried it (don't have LabView)
