ThingSpeak have announced they're now open:

www.thingspeak.com

Open Internet of Things Project - Give your things a voice

They join the likes of Pachube in offering a place for data from 'net-connected things' to reside, so other devices / systems can read from them.

Thats Interesting - I randomly stumbled onto that site yesterday and signed up. I like the fo' free logging abilities. Within literally 6 minutes I had an account open and was submitting HTTP GET data to their system. I might be using it for my home alarm system.

Thanks Jim for the information. At first glance, having worked with Pachube, it seems that their API is easier to use that Pachube. They even have a tutorial for Netduino

I've heard from ThingSpeak that it will remain free, by the way - excellent news! Jim
