Is there any hibernate mode to put Netduino into sleep/hibernate mode and after raising an event wake it up?
Hi Paul,
Not today, but we can look into adding one... Would you want a GPIO event to wake it up? Timer?

Hi Chris,
Both wake on GPIO and on timer will be interesting. Any progress on this?

We're working on "wake on GPIO" right now. Wake on timer is next on the list...still working out the feasability/details.Both wake on GPIO and on timer will be interesting. Any progress on this?
We're building this feature for a non-Netduino, NETMF-powered battery-operated device...but will be incorporating the power management code into the Netduino firmware. Sometime later this summer or fall.

Is there an update on this? Summer and Fall of 2011 has come and gone. Would love to have this feature to put the board to full sleep.
Just an opinion, but you could use a RTC or a timer of some sort with a outpin which you could connect to your netduino and set a few alarms on the rtc to send an on/off signal to the pin, which would go to a digital flipflop?
Another option is to use the watchdog timer in a way that it was not intended to be used. Just a few suggestions. Good luck with getting the hibernate working!
