Soon it's all going to be down since Chris is sitting on the beach somewhere with the $1million he stole on the Agent Watch Kickstarter.  Just a matter of time.

omg thats very bad. I just saw the kickstarter campaign and I didn't expect him to be like this. Why would the kickstarter give all money before any product is tested 100%.

It is all very odd.  He hasn't been signed into these forums under his account since November of last year. Many say he is hiding out now because of it all.  We've been fighting to get Kickstarter to admit there is an issue with their process and to change their policies but it doesn't seem to be happening.  I lost $200 and that's no big deal... it's more the principal of it especially because I have private messages from Chris saying he was going to make it right and either refund or get me an equivalent of other parts they sell.  Neither happened.  We raised almost $3000 to hire a lawyer using FundedJustice.com a legal funding site but it's not quite enough to do anything yet.

Well thats what used to happen in chit fund. You get people money, run away, make profit for year. Return home, refund all money. Everyone happy, thinks you are very honest as you refunded their money. And thats how, many people became rich here. So rich they have their own cities.

But I never thought Chris would be like this, maybe its the other company that is doing all the mess. Anyway, why the hell the wiki is down but not this site lol.

Can we please leave out our personal feelings regarding why a completely unrelated issues is (all of you think) responsible for the Wiki to be down.

There might be a perfectly logical and even reasonable reason why the Wiki is on sabbatical here. Yes there are or rather were a majority of Kickstarter funded projects that failed splendidly, and prior to the firm imposing rules, and even doing their own investigations these have within reason ended.

In fact there might be a series of very good reasons concerning the thing one of you is concerned with caused a spectacular failure in the whole business, and it has no bearing whatsoever on the business here.

Not me. I stated the real life fact not my personal experience or feelings. And I only actually opened this topic to know why wiki is down. Because its a very good resource to learn about Netduino. Which I like very much. I also have much respect for Chris. I do like him alot. I didn't blame anybody, in fact I felt bad because something like this(Netduino) is losing its state, which have a very good potential and Chris did very hard work to make it there.

I may be late to the party but is this site now dead with Chris gone?

I was going to buy a Netduino 3 to play with but nothing seems to have been updated software wise since last year?

Is anyone actively maintaining this site?

I hope I'm mistaken.

Jason

Edit: Secretlabs.com is down
