A general question to the community...

Is there anyone else other than Chris from SecretLabs that monitors the forum and interacts with the community? Or is it literally just one person supporting the entire community (from the manufacturers perspective)?

Thanks,

Jason.

Hi,

Thanks for the feedback. It confirms what I thought. There are some really helpful people out there in the community as I've already encountered.

I was just surprised there was only one primary contributor from Secret Labs.

Thanks,

Jason.

It's a bit strange that we do not hear anything from Secret Labs about the new .netMF 4.4 update.

We have looked forward to this update for over 3 years and now moment suprime silence, no responce.

This is so NOT Chris, i hope that everything is oké with Chris. Can anyone give us an update?

It has always been the case that the Netduino releases of NETMF always follow the main release, sometimes by a few months.

Chris is a great fan of getting it right and only releases product when they think they have it right.  It also takes time to port a the framework and this is part of Secretlabs business, not all of it.

I'm sure we'll see it but I take a relaxed view that it will turn up but when is just "sometime in the future".

Regards,

Mark

Mark, I hope it's not wishful thinking from you.

Do you think that it is wise for your business to let nobody know the progress of a long-expected update?
(also to tackle these kinds of conversations)

I was a manager of a compagnie for a very long time (retired). Trust is hard won and easily lost.
