Hi all,
I've started a project involving OpenHAB, XBee and Netduino [of course ] - and while it's early in it's lifecycle and I have many things planned to do, I would really appreciate feedback on this approach.
A short introduction: currently I'm using OpenHAB in a Docker container on a Synology NAS - OpenHAB being capable of acting as a controller for various devices. If you push a button, you can write a rule in OpenHAB to turn on or off a switch.
The OpenHAB communicates through MQTT (using Mosquitto in a Docker container) with the Netduino, and the Netduino acts as a gateway between the XBee based sensor network.
In short this is the architecture:
OpenHAB <-> MQTT w/ Mosquitto <-> Netduino <-> XBee sensor network
The project I've started is on GitHub, I'm planning to add lot's of documentation, schematics, etc.

I would really like to get some feedback on this approach - and the top of the iceberg would be if somebody would also jump in and help developing this project ?
Let me know your ideas, comments.
