"Do you have one in particular that you are not sure of?" Yes, the Seeed DTMF board. But the point is to learn what to look for so I don't have to ask each and every time I need a board to use on a project.

The first issue is it doesn't list the non compatible, so there is no way to know if the board I'm interested in was tested and doesn't work or just wasn't test. The second issue is that I'm asking what should be verified, tested, or check so that I can contribute to the process rather than just having to suck off everyone else's work.
So the question is what needs to be checked, verified, tested, etc to determine if a board is compatible? Is there a list anywhere of the things to verify? #4Posted 21 July 2015 - 11:44 PM
Hi Bernie,
The main things you'll want to verify, for compatibility: 1. Does the accessory work with 3.3V logic signals? 2. Does the accessory require special Arduino drivers? Or does it use basic I2C, SPI, UART logic that can be used from (directly, or via a custom driver) C#? 3. How much current does the accessory require? Netduino has been designed for best-in-class hardware compatibility with Arduino shields. There are even some Arduino shields which work with Netduino but don't work with Arduino's newer Due boards. In the end it's usually a concern of software support (although there are a few cases where the hardware isn't compatible).
