Hello!

My latest accomplishment, is to have a Netduino 1, wearing a BOE Shield from Parallax poking an installed part, blinking LEDs, and then sending the output to a BS2.

That Parallax BS2 also mounted on its own BOE (Board of Ed, so named because they were frequently used in schools until fairly recently.) is receiving the data and sending to an attached LCD display.

Hi Dr. Who,

Well, there we go: multiprocessing :)

The big question is: did you use Visual Basic code on the Netduino, to make the BASIC Stamp feel at home?

On a more serious note: what kind of cool things does this collaboration of micros enable you to do?

Hello!

Currently no. I simply stepped through several iterations of C# 2010 on the thing. The original code was in fact written to accommodate the  chosen PAL14L8 parts. Each of this are in fact "pulls", that is the they were recovered from recycled boards. [That is someone I happened to be working with made the mistake of throwing out boards wearing part numbers worth more then the preposterous amount he was being paid for each system he revived.]

Part of the problem is that each of the parts in my collection were programmed to do something else as they say, and the original Netduino program was written to find out what happened. Since there wasn't an easy method to visualize what the whole business is doing I realized that my next big step would be to have the stamp pick up data from one display point and then translate it into what a serial LCD display would show.

As it happens the current code reviews are available on GitHub. which is here: https://github.com/DoctorWho8 The second one is especially interesting as it ran on the Mini and worked largely with the MMI PAL16L8 parts.

I am now working on a VB solution.....

As of 1AM this project is completed. There's no solution available, and worse the problem can not be solved.

One way to try and do both is write a program for a PAL16L8 to solve it, and, ah, then program it. A blank is available as is tools. No programmer however....
