Ok. I picked up a netduino plus 2 last year, but never really used it. I have a great idea, so today (this morning) I broke out the board, and for the life me I can not get it to work. I'm frustrated beyond belief after spending almost 10 hours trying to get it to do the simple blinky. I've update drives, downloaded SDKs, updated firmware, etc. I've done it all. I'm angry to the point I'm ready to destroy the stupid board. These things shouldn't be difficult. It's a piece of crap.
Hate netduino

Hi ftrocchi,
Sorry for your troubles. It really should just work...let's see what is going on and get you up and running.
A few questions:
1. When you plug your Netduino into your computer, does it show up in Device Manager? What does it show up as?
2. Run the MFDeploy program that comes with the .NET Micro Framework (in Start > Programs > NETMF 4.x > Tools). Change transport to USB. Does Netduino show up? What happens if you press "Ping"?
3. What version of the NETMF and Netduino SDKs did you install? If you install the default one, it should match the firmware on your board.
