Hello to All

  Hope this is the right place to put this post.

To start with I am a total newbe with "NetDuino and C#".

I recently purchased a "Getting started with Net Duino Kit"

I installed the following Software per the instructions;

"Visual C# 2010 Express"

".Net Micro Framework SDK"

"Netduino SDK"

As far as I can tell they all installed with NO Problems

My OS is Windows 8.1

I hooked up the board, typed the code you can see in the attachment and got an error.

Error message had the following;

"Discription - 0x80131700, File - MMP"

nothing else. I be leave I have a missing or corrupted file.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

Thanx Firefli

Hi Firefli,

Sorry about that. Can you manually install .NET 2.0/3.0/3.5.x on your computer? This is an error that typically happens when there's not an older .NET 2.0-based framework edition on the computer.

Here's a link to a technical note on this:

Welcome to the Netduino community,

Chris

hello Chris

thanx very much, for taking the time to locate that link.

I will copy the file as you suggest, and see what happens.

I will let you know

Thanx again Firefli

Installing .Net Framework 3.5 SP1 solved the issue like Chris said. Thanks!
