Good morning everyone,

I am working on my Halloween Prop, it is a zombie with a rotating head, I've installed a servo on it, so now I want to be able to move the head as someone stands in front of it. I was thinking on using the EZ1 Ultrasonic sensor, I have only 1, so I was planning to buy another one and use 2 of them to triangulate the position of the person on front and then with a simple algorithm move the head towards where the person is standing. Does it sound like a good idea or there is something simpler to accomplish the same goal?

Thank you in advance.

Why not use another servo to actual move the sensor ;)

Thanks for your reply beastyboy, I thought about that but I am using the servo to rotate the head of the zombie 360° (kind of like the exorcist) in any direction, so having the sensor on the head or in the servo arm will be a problem with the wire tangling around.

Thanks for your suggestion anyway.
