Sparkfun has the Netduino Plus 2 on sale for $50 (+shipping) and has a coupon code RETROSPARK for $10 off $40. Sale runs until 11:59 p.m. MT on 8/17/14.

The 1000-unit pricing on NP2 is $41.96. $40 for 1-unit almost seems like doing something rebellious/mischevious.

But Chris you are the company. It groks that you'd have several examples of the products standing around doing almost anything.

Including that collection of Go hardware that was wired together to eventually solve the equations for that time machine you were told about by a short individual with the hair style that four individuals from where he sounded was also from......

Hmm, try adding something else to your cart. I was able to use it to buy an N+2 and 4 MOSFETs on Tuesday.

I just added one to my cart and went just short of purchasing and it looked like it was working for me. At what point were you rejected?

It worked for me last night, though I bought some other items that I needed for my projects, and was also able to take advantage of free shipping. The $10 discount was applied at the very end of checkout, before you hit Submit. You are right though, after you go to your cart, add the code and hit apply, nothing seems to happen. You have to go almost all the way through

I just bought 8 x Netduino 1's on clearance for �10 each. Perfect for an intro to microcontrollers session that I'm about to do for my colleagues (C# developers). It's just gone from a talk to a hands-on lab. Should be fun.

From a UK reseller that I assume was clearing out older stock. They still have 2 left right now.

The hands-on went well. Got everyone playing with switches, LEDs, PWM (servos and LED dimming) and a little bit of I2C to some random peripherals I had lying around. Difficult squeezing this into a lunch hour though.

I recently won an auction for a brand new Netduino MakerShed kit for about $20 shipped. Includes Chris' "Getting Started" book, all components used in the book, mini breadboard and wires, MakerShield and Netduino Plus! I am happy.
