Hi everyone, I am having problems communicating to multiple I2C devices on the same bus.

Here is the environment:

Windows 8.1 64

Netduino 2 (with latest firmware)

NETMF 4.3.1

DS1307 RTC Module (VERY similar to this:  http://www.hobbyist....real_time_clock)

1602 LCD with I2C Backpack (

I have tried a number of different libraries (sorry - at work atm, and don't have access to them).

Does anyone know the libraries I need that will work together to get this working?  Working code would also be perfect.

At this point I am considering connecting an Arduino to the LCD and talking from the Netduino to the Arduino when I want to display something (over serial), but that's an extra wire and shouldn't really be necessary.

Please note that I have the latest of everything (except VS 2014), and that seems to be the problem.

Thanks in advance

The RTC is working by itself

The display and RTC work (together) from Arduino

The RTC has pullups for SDA and SCL

I have ported my 95% working code from Arduino because I have ran out of RAM there
