Staring at Tecchie's Pinout Cards tonight, a question popped in my head:
If you are using COM2, are D7 and D8 (rts/cts) unusable for anything else? Or can the still be assigned as input/output ports?

They are reserved only when Handshake (flow control) is set to RequestToSend, otherwise they can be used as general input/output ports.If you are using COM2, are D7 and D8 (rts/cts) unusable for anything else? Or can the still be assigned as input/output ports?
