Hello,

I'm developing a managed driver for NFC PN532 chip (using SPI interface) and with the following board :

http://www.elecfreak...oard-p-519.html

The chip is the same as your NFC shield, I think that it can work well.

I will release a first version of the driver in few days.

I will put release here in the post or you can follow me on twitter (https://twitter.com/ppatierno) or on my english blog (http://www.embedded1...loPatierno.aspx).

Best regards,

Paolo.

Any update on the driver? I am also very interested in working with nfc and your driver sounds like a great starting point!

Hi all...

I hope to put the driver online before the end of this week ! ;-)

The driver will work with all three communication I2C, SPI and HSU (you can choose which use).

Paolo.

You can find it on CodePlex or on Code Gallery at the following links :

https://unfc.codeplex.com/

I hope it could be useful !

Sorry for asking, but I am very new to this.  How would I add your library to my existing project?  Just add the class specific to the communication I choose (HSU, I2C, SPI)?  Thanks for the help.

You have to download the source code from CodePlex and add the project of your target net mf (4.2 or 4.3) to your solution.

Then you have to add a reference to this project into your main application (console for example).

Finally you can see documentation page for using the library, there is a simple example.

If you have other doubts ... I'm here ! :-)

Is your library able to display the data encoded on the tag?  I am running your test program and it appears only the connection id is displayed.  outputting the mifareConn.Read(0x08) to string and always get null value.

Hi croll12,

with my library you can read "raw" bytes and not NDEF formatted (I'm working on porting this NDEF library http://ndef.codeplex.com on .Net Micro Framework). The example read the block number 8 of a Mifare Classic 1k.

Were you able to get that code ported?

I haven't started yet this porting due to other activity that made me busy.
I will start it as soon as possible.
