Hello here
I have Mini and Netduino plus - both are working perfectly
I am trying now to use my own custom PCB based on Netduino plus schematics
I want to use serial and usb
I downloaded TinyBooterDecompressor.bin which I used for Mini Netduino.
After downloading TinyBooterDecompressor.bin successfully and downloading 2 files using MFDeploy , I can only manage to get serial working with MFDeploy but not USB .
I get error ' USB device not recognized"
Bellow the signature I have now
TinyBooter v4.2.0.0
NetduinoMini Build Date: Oct 16 2011 21:15:40
ARM Compiler version 410713
Can someone please assist me to get USB to work ?
Many thanks
Nissim

Hi Nissim,
Since Netduino Mini does not have a USB port, the Netduino Mini firmware does not include USB support code.
When building a custom board using USB, I would recommend starting with the regular Netduino firmware instead. That will give you the USB debug support you're looking for.

Thank you for your ongoing excellent support Chris
Can you please point me to direction to obtain a suitable TinyBooterDecompressor.bin and the regular Netduino firmware
Many thanks

My PCB has same wiring as netduino plus kit except 2 wires bus, analog and mux .
I am scratching my head why Netduino plus firmware tools work on my kit but not on my custom made PCB

Hi Nissim,
Are you using the same crystal? Are your traces measured and balanced, etc.?
Do you have JTAG available on your custom PCB, to step into the code and analyze what's going on?
Finally...have you tried flashing the regular Netduino (not Mini or Plus or Go) firmware?
I wish there was a good way to remotely diagnose custom PCBs.
