In looking for pin documentation I found that things like Socket1_Led are commented out?
Netduino!Go isn't really intended or you to access the pins directly, that is intended for modules, the driver for which should be dealing with that sort of thing. The Socket LEDs are intended to be controlled by the Module's driver as well. While I can't say for certain that this is why they are commented out, it would stand to reason.

BTW, we are working on an update which exposes the GoPort LEDs (including PWM-based intensity) via the GoPort class.

While you are at it, could you look at the board layout, there is definitely a need for at rectangular NetDuino GO David Hasselhoff edition, put the MCU on the back of the board and 8 GO sockets on the front.
I can contribute with a Larson effect sample that you can preload on the board.
And remember RED diodes...
