Hardly an error....I don't think it could be an error...anything boiling in the plate?
I'm hoping for the release of a 44 pin Netduino mini with a 200+ Mhz MCU, 1GB Flash and 512Mb RAM on-board
Could be, this disussion is exactly what Chris et al want from it...

Hi all!
When arriving at the Netduino homepage this morning I found the message "[Redacted] 00101100".
00101100 bin = 44 decimal, so an interpretation could be "Redacted 44" but I still don't get it.
Does anybody know what it means?
In the hex way?...
It would be "Redacted 2C", that sounds like "Redacted to see"...
...but what it means?

That's probably the correct way to spell it out and so this should mean something is about to be released. My bet would be on a new member of the Netduino family. It would be "Redacted 2C", that sounds like "Redacted to see"...

Well, if it's a positive balance, it's no problem I suppose.Oh man, something tells me my bank account will soon know what "[redacted] 00101100" means...

My bet would be on a new member of the Netduino family.
Hmmm..."new member" you say...
If so should be still "protected", and should be turned to be "public"...however that will break the interface...
Bah!...

I believe it was Iron Maiden that once sang: "Six, six, six, the number of the beast. Hell and fire was spawned to be released"
Well, let's hope it's a true beast to be released from Secret Labs, especially since Fez recently redacted the Cerberus. This bad boy is based on the 168Mhz ARM Cortex M4, 1MB flash and a 192kB RAM strong STM32F4 with a set of features that could make a grown man cry like a sissy. And, naturally, it runs NETMF priced at 25$ for the DIP40 version corresponding to the mini.
A cousin of which you can see a demo of here:

I think redacted is used literally as in its censored, nothing to do with with the site being unavailable, or price hikes etc. As for what is redacted we can only guess at. Purely guessing at what it could be i can come up with 3 posibilities
- A new netduino device
- A new site layout and structure
- Micro Framework 4.2 for netduino is Released
I think all 3 a possible, however it would make sense to lauch a new site design with a new framework revison so my money is on 2 or 3. And seeing as 4.2 has been in testing for a while and RC firmwares are available...
Guess we will know soon enough if the 4th of april is significant or not carrying on the Iron Maiden quotes
"Do you believe what you hear, can you believe what you see?
Do you believe what you feel, can you believe?
What is real? Futureal
What is real?"
