Guys i am new to the netduino, i have used phidgets devices in the past and have a few of the dual relay board around and would like to know if they would work. and what would i connect to what. this is a link to the relay boards. http://www.phidgets....product_id=3051 guessing, i would think that i connect the pin from the netduino board to the control I/O pins on the relay board. my guess is that they only use the grd and power on the other connector. Does anyone know? thanks for any help tim

Hello Tim...
You cannot wire the relay shield directly to the Netduino (nor any Arduino, though).
The shield requires about 100mA to switch a relay on, and it's absolutely far from the current ability of any microcontroller.
You must add a little external hardware, such a transistor, following the schematic on this post.
Hope it helps.
Cheers
Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.
