I recently built a Twitter-enabled Geiger counter using a netduino+

The code and details on the build are shared here: http://fabienroyer.w...ith-a-netduino/

Cheers,
-Fabien.

Wow, that's really cool Fabien! It would be interesting to connect this to Pachube -- or to have a bunch of worldwide Netduino Plus Geiger counters reporting data to a Twitter stream from time to time. Chris

The minute I have a budget for fun, this might be cool to discover the level of radiactivity I am at :)
Started with C in 1985, moved to Vb3 ... to vb6 and stopped. Now started with .Net and learning C# and VB.net and wishing VB.net was on MF !

Biggest fault of Netduino? It runs by electricity.

Thanks Chris :)

I'll definitely do something with Pachube and ThingSpeak at some point.
I also hope that others pick up the code and create their own monitoring nodes, possibly feeding into http://www.safecast.org/

Cheers,
-Fabien.
