Netduino Plus 3?

I have a basic run-of-the-mill Netduino at the moment, but am considering buying a Netduino Plus 2.  I was just wondering if there are any new models coming out soon, so maybe I should hold off.  

 

Is there any news on a Netduino Plus 3 or other newer controllers?

Hi dustmouse, As standard policy, we can't comment on unannounced products. But since it's Christmas... We're always working on the next generation of Netduino technology, but you can rest easy knowing that Netduino Plus 2 is and will continue to be the best Arduino-form-factor NETMF board for some time. We pack a lot into these boards, so that they can be best-in-breed for at least 18-24 months. We've designed a dozen new accessories this year for Netduino and Netduino Go. Lots of cool hardware to come--but for the next few months any new goodies will be accessories. Chris
